«CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite researchers, irrespective of their institutional or geographical affiliation, to submit theoretical, applied, or policy-oriented research papers on any field in economics to our meeting. This sixth meeting of the Portuguese Economic Journal (https://editorialexpress.com/cgi-bin/conference/conference.cgi?action=login&db_name=PEJ2012) is hosted by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and will be held in Porto in July 6-7, 2012.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Luis Cabral (Stern School of Business and IESE Business School) and Professor Ricardo Reis (Columbia University) have accepted to deliver the plenary lectures.
*Important dates*
Opening date for submissions: December 1.
Deadline for submissions: March 12.
Decision on submissions: April 15.
Opening date for early registration: April 16.
Deadline for early registration at a reduced rate: May 14.
Deadline for registration for presenting authors: May 31.
Meeting: July 6-7.
*Submission guidelines*
Papers should be written in English. The title page should contain the following elements: name of the author(s), affiliation(s), presenter, address(es), email(s), title of the paper, abstract (up to 600 words), keywords and JEL classification codes.

The registration fee entitles access to the meeting, a conference dinner, lunch and coffee breaks and conference material. Travel and accommodation will not be provided.»
